About Race Track Chaplaincy of America
Our Leadership
The RTCA Board of Directors is comprised of men and women with a heart for God and a passion for serving the workers in the horse racing industry. Many of them have personal ties to the equine world and each of them serves faithfully in their local chaplaincies. The Board consists of an Executive Committee of four officers and five elected representatives from key groups within the organization.
Our Champions
Regional & At Large ambassadors
Our Board of directors is supported by a network of Regional Ambassadors who stay in contact with and represent the interests of the Chaplaincies within their geographic region. Ambassadors are elected by the General Assembly during our Annual Business Meeting and serve a 3-year term.
National Service Center
In addition to the governance of the Board of Directors, Race Track Chaplaincy of America has a staffed National Service Center, located in Lexington, Kentucky. RTCA staff member oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, host multiple events throughout the year, and are dedicated to supporting every Chaplain, council, and members of the horse racing industry.

Race Track Chaplaincy of America (RTCA) is an evangelical, interdenominational, 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian organization.
RTCA National works with Chaplaincies and Councils serving as the boots on the ground at tracks across the country. RTCA affiliate Chaplaincies are supported with national resources created a united ministry effort with consistent, biblical based leadership and teaching.

The Race Track Chaplaincy of America sincerely appreciates the ongoing support from Thoroughbred Charities of America. The 2025 TCA grant has been instrumental in providing RTCA with the essential funding required to maintain training and resources for Chaplains, Chaplaincies, and Councils nationwide.
